A Tropical Tapestry: May 18-July 21
Major Summer Exhibit
Just as LEGO® bricks connect together to create something fun, colorful, and intricate, so does nature. All living things on Earth rely on a complex and amazing network. This summer, Powell Gardens will celebrate those connections with an art exhibit sure to appeal to all ages!
Walk under an 8-foot tall hummingbird, pose beside a 7-foot rose, go nose-to-nose with a 5-foot butterfly, and then show us what you can make! Built from nearly 500,000 LEGO® bricks, the NATURE CONNECTS exhibit features 27 larger-than-life sculptures set in 14 scenes built by New York artist Sean Kenney.

Did you know? The exhibits in our "crown jewel," also known as the glass-domed Conservatory, change six times a year. Each August this space turns into a magical butterfly house. Learn more »
