Celebrate Earth Day at Powell Gardens

Reduce, reuse, recycle—Powell Gardens will cover it all from a sustainable gardening perspective during Earth Day activities. Demonstrations of sustainable gardening techniques will be available throughout the day.

Scheduled activities
- All day: Upcycling Display (Missouri Barn workshop): Pick up great ideas for creating new treasures from others' cast offs
- 10 a.m. Seed Savers Exchange Workshop (Registration required)
- 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Midwestern Beekeepers' Association Youth Mentorship (Missouri Barn): Kids can learn about beekeeping and try on beekeepers' suits.
- 1:30 p.m. Garden tours
- 2 p.m. Join Georg Paulussen, Executive Chef at Ameristar in Kansas City, for a cooking demo (Missouri Barn)
