In the Conservatory

The conservatory within the Visitor Center offers inspiration and color throughout the year—no matter the weather. Celebrate the holidays in high fashion during our Christmas Couture exhibition, which is open through Jan. 8, 2017. Learn more about the conservatory exhibits.  

Festival Fun for All

New for 2017! Fungi & Fermentation: Check back for details on our newest festival—a celebration of mushrooms, local beer and more! 

Booms & Blooms: A patriotic celebration with a dazzling daylily display, live music and a dramatic fireworks display over the dark country sky.  

Festival of Butterflies: An interactive experience with hundreds of tropical butterflies and moths flying freely in our temporary indoor exhibit.

GLOW Jack-O-Lantern Festival: More than 700 hand-carved pumpkins light a flickering trail through the Gardens during this spellbinding Halloween experience. 








Signature Fundraising Events 

Thank you to everyone who attended or helped with our 2016 fundraising events, Under a Blue Moon: Garden Party & Rare Plant Auction and Under a Harvest Moon: A Farm-to-Table Dinner with Chef Cody Hogan from Lidia's Kansas City. Both events benefit children's educational programs at Powell Gardens and were a tremendous success thanks to all of you!
