Spend a memorable weekend under the stars with wildHERness and Powell Gardens during this fun, family-friendly overnight camping experience. Whether you’re brand new to camping or a seasoned outdoor enthusiast, this event is a welcoming opportunity to build confidence, learn practical outdoor cooking skills, and connect with others in a beautiful natural setting.

We’ll gather at Powell Gardens on Saturday afternoon, arriving around 4:00 p.m. to set up camp together. Once everyone is settled, we’ll demonstrate how to prepare a delicious campfire meal using simple techniques and equipment that can easily be replicated on future camping adventures. Participants will enjoy the meal together before spending a relaxing evening around the campfire with conversation, laughter, and classic s’mores.

On Sunday morning, we’ll prepare and enjoy a hearty campfire breakfast before breaking camp and heading home with new skills, new friendships, and inspiration for your next outdoor adventure.

This experience is designed to make camping approachable, enjoyable, and accessible for individuals and families of all experience levels. Come learn, share a meal, and discover the joy of cooking and camping together in the great outdoors.

This event is open to women and families; price is listed per person. All participants must sign a 2026 Liability Event Waiver, located on the WildHERness website, to attend.
