Presented by WildHERness and Powell Gardens, this workshop will be led by renowned Ozark foraging expert Bo Brown. Join us to learn the basics of foraging through a guided hike and classroom instruction.

Come prepared for the outdoors with closed-toed shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and gloves. Ticks and poison ivy may be present.

BUNDLE: This class can be bundled with Food Fermentation with Bo Brown (Sunday, April 12 from 1-4 p.m.) for $80. A mixed wild greens/watercress salad lunch with Bo Brown at noon will be included for bundled tickets.

Bo Brown is the founder and director of First Earth Wilderness School and author of the Falcon Guides books Foraging the Ozarks and Foraging Central Grasslands. He has worked all over the U.S. and Belize as a songbird biologist since 1985, and has led courses on foraging, Stone Age wilderness survival, and nature education throughout the Midwest for over three decades. He also presents weekly foraging walks and primitive skills demonstrations at Johnny Morris’s Dogwood Canyon Nature Park near Blue Eye, Missouri.
