Join us as we celebrate a fresh season and an exciting new chapter at Powell Gardens Colonial Farms! Formerly Colonial Gardens, the beloved garden center and agritourism destination in Blue Springs, MO is now proudly part of Powell Gardens.

Spend the day exploring the farm, learning from experts, enjoying family activities, and taking advantage of some amazing spring shopping deals!

Bring the whole family and enjoy the grand opening of Powell Gardens Colonial Farms. Family activities include Paint-a-Pot kids craft, live farm animals on display in the Courtyard, exploring the garden center and greenhouse. Stop in for coffee, pastries, or lunch from Whistle Stop Café.

Educational classes and workshops are available from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

After the Grand Opening festivities, join us for Customer Appreciation Night: Spring Fling (5-7 p.m.). This relaxed evening features live  music from Drew Six as well as wine and spirit tastings with Tom’s Town Distilling Co., Boulevard Brewing Company and Lolea Wines and honey tastings from Honey B Hives. The Plant Bar is open for succulent make and takes and the garden center has plenty of plants to take home and start your spring garden!
