Join Powell Gardens and WildHERness for an after-dark adventure through the Gardens. Together, we’ll explore the world of owls and other nocturnal wildlife native to Missouri.

As the sun sets and the forest comes alive, we’ll listen for hoots, howls, and rustling in the trees, learning about the adaptations that help these creatures thrive at night. A naturalist will guide the group on a twilight hike, helping you tune into the sounds, sights, and secrets of the nocturnal world. This program is perfect for anyone curious about the lives of animals after dark and looking to experience nature in a new way.

Please bring a flashlight or headlamp with a red light setting and water. Wear sturdy, comfortable footwear. Dress for the weather and be prepared for a moderate walk.
