Adult Programs at Powell Gardens
Get inspired and learn something new at Powell Gardens! Whether you’re an avid gardener, a nature newbie, a foodie, animal lover or artist – we have something for you.
ONGOING SERIES INCLUDE:
SAGES (Senior Adult Garden Education Series) programs provide an opportunity for seniors to learn about a variety of garden-related topics from Powell Gardens’ horticultural staff and local experts. Each program includes an engaging lecture and demonstration as well as a boxed lunch.
Work & Learn programs allow participants to roll up their sleeves for a hands-on lesson in the Gardens with Powell Gardens horticulture staff. Work & Learn participants will go home with a new skill that they can apply in their own gardens and occasionally with a cutting, cocktail, or other treat related to the day’s lesson.
Many programs fill quickly, so sign up early to reserve your space. Advance registration is required for all ticketed programs. You will receive confirmation of your enrollment via email after you complete your registration. Walk-in registrations are accepted if there is availability and if there is no required supply list for the participants. Walk-in registration is to be paid at the Visitor Center front desk.
