Dark Forest Tickets on Sale at Powell Gardens

Kingsville, MO – Tickets are now on sale for Dark Forest, Powell Gardens’ immersive nighttime experience created in partnership with Kansas City performance collective Quixotic. Dark Forest
returns to Powell Gardens for seven nights this fall: October 16-17, 22 (21+), 23-24 and 30-31, 2026.

Guests will travel a one-mile loop through Powell Gardens’ woodlands after dark, encountering an atmospheric world of lights, sound, performance and unexpected discoveries along the way. Designed for a PG-13 audience, Dark Forest transforms the familiar landscape into an experience that is eerie, enchanting and unlike an ordinary walk in the woods.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the trail experience starting at 7 p.m. Final trail entry is 8:45 p.m. Tickets are limited each night, and advance purchase is required. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Guests can also enhance their Dark Forest experience with Fire Feast, an immersive dining experience featuring fire-roasted fare and live fire performances, or with VIP Fast Pass tickets, which offer premium perks and the ability to skip the general admission line.
